Brand Revitalization Project
Posted Date:
 Alert Information:

Hello All Town of Windermere Residents,

As many of you may already know, The Town of Windermere was incorporated in 1889. At that time our logo, consisting of a crest and old Gothic lettering, was adopted from our sister city in England.

Throughout the nearly 130 years since, the Town has needed to apply this logo to a wide range of items such as letterheads, business cards, vehicles, and signage to name a few.

However, because there were never any standards or guidelines for developing these materials, much of it looks different, disorganized, and not unified or consistent. This results in the Town not looking as professional or as aesthetically pleasing as it deserves.

The Town of Windermere has decided that it is time to review our current branding practices and to initiate a Brand Revitalization Program, building it around the valued crest and Old English font which will remain unchanged. However, we do plan on formalizing and revising many of the inconsistent and disparate applications comprising the Town of Windermere brand.

The Town Council held its first workshop on this matter on December 20th.  The presentation and audit findings are attached.  Please stayed tuned to future announcements of public meetings for you to attend and participate.
