Know Your Town's Permitting Requirements
Windermere Town Code, Chapter 2, Article 1, Section 2-4
If you live inside the Town limits of Windermere or doing a job for someone who does, you need a permit to build a house, build/replace a fence, add a pool, patio, addition, driveway, remove a tree, etc.

Contractors must register with the Building Department by submitting the following:

• A copy of the contractor's license
• A copy of the local business tax receipt
• Proof of worker' compensation oe exemption
• Proof of liabiltity insurance coverage with Windermere as Certificate Holder.
