Park Avenue Tree Planting Volunteers with

On Feb. 27 Volunteer HOA Members from Butler Bay, Crescent Reserve and Windermere Tree Board recently planted 45 replacement trees along the HOA berms on Park Avenue on a wet, rainy Saturday afternoon to replace trees lost in the Florida Hurricanes of 2005. The cold, rainy weather was great for the trees but the humans needed plenty of rain gear. Windermere Tree Board supplied Florida Native trees purchased by the HOA along with OozeTubes and taught the homeowners a mini-seminar on proper tree planting. The volunteers got to work planting Red Bud, Red Maple, Fringe, Green Ashe, Pignut Hickory, Blackgum, Winged Elm, Sweet Bay and Red Cedar trees.
