Legacies in the Making...

Wendy Welch thoughtfully sought the ideal location for a Legacy bench to honor her beloved husband, Ed Greco. Ed was truly an amazing husband, a devoted cat dad, and a loving brother, son, and friend. Wendy fondly remembers his legendary sense of humor, which inspired the heartfelt message on the bench plaque: “Go ahead and laugh out loud right now. You know you want to.”

We dedicated this legacy bench in honor of the beloved Jim and Mary Hayes family, whose roots run deep not only in the town of Windermere but throughout the West Orange area. This bench serves as a tribute to their enduring connection to our community and celebrates the life of a remarkable man, Jim Hayes, who recently passed away.

Dedicated to three generations who have woven love and warmth into the fabric of our little town for five decades. May this bench serve as a place of reflection and connection, honoring the bonds that tie us together through time. Roger, Judi & Karen Tome Jim, Kristin, Jacob & Emily O'Brien.

We honor the beautiful spirit of beloved Oakley Ray with this special Legacy bench dedicated in her memory by the Swatkowski family. 💖 It stands in Central Park, next to her favorite piece, the fire truck. It's a peaceful spot where we can come together to remember her laughter, her kindness, and the joy she brought into our lives.

A new Legacy bench has been donated by the Potthast family at Palmer Park. Genevieve and Tom moved to Windermere in 1998, where they raised four children. Their daughter, Jeanne-Marie, along with her husband Nicholas and son Lawrence, currently resides here as well. Lawrence is the third generation of their family in our wonderful town. The bench is a tribute to Genevieve’s mom, Ida Richard. In the photos: Tom and Genevieve Potthast, Jeanne-Marie, Nicholas, and Lawrence (3) Olache, Christine Potthast.

Dr. Abid Shah and Neelam Nasir have adopted a Legacy bench dedicated to their lovely daughters, Amelia Naz and Anya Nur. We celebrate the love and laughter they share and welcome this bench on Main Street as a place for everyone to create beautiful memories.
