On April 19th, approximately 30 dedicated volunteers came together to assist the Town of Windermere in a successful lakes cleanup effort. 💚
Equipped with safety vests, grabbers, and gloves, volunteers worked together to safely remove litter and debris that can contribute to water pollution and impact our local ecosystem. Efforts like these support compliance with NPDES (National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System) standards by reducing pollutants and helping prevent illicit discharges from entering our lakes and stormwater system.
