Windermere Tree Board
Unless otherwise specified, the Windermere Tree Board meets on the 3rd Thursday of every month at 9:15 am in the Community Conference Room at 614 Main Street.
The Town of Windermere desires to be an active participant in the Tree City USA program and achieve the standards set forth by the Arbor Day Foundation. The Town shall adopt and enact administrative policies, regulations, standards, and procedures necessary to ensure that the Town, which has been declared a “Tree City USA” community, will continue to be a recognized participant in this program. The Tree Board also hosts the annual Residential Tree Giveaway and Arbor Day Celebration each January.

The Windermere Tree Board is looking for members.
Are you 18 years or older, a Windermere* resident of at least 6 months, and do you have a passion for protecting our urban canopy and educating the public regarding the benefits of trees?
Consider joining the Windermere Tree Board!
Download and complete the application, and then return the form to the Town Administrative Office located at 614 Main Street. You can also email the Town Clerk, Ms. Dorothy Burkhalter.
*Resident is defined as living within the 2.2 square miles of incorporated Windermere. Interested parties outside of the 2.2 square miles, including residents of un-incorporated Orange County with a 34786 zip may apply to join as Ex Officio members (non-voting).
