Attention: pedestrian access gates were installed at Lake Street Park (5th Street) and Lake Down Park (4th & Magnolia) to enhance safety and security. The gates were closed and locked on June 30, 2025.
- Get Your Access Code: To access these parks, residents must visit Town Administration (614 Main Street, Building 100) to receive their personal gate access code. Please bring proof of residency.
- Existing Fernwood Gate Code Holders: If you already have a Fernwood gate code, you'll need to update your account at Town Administration to gain access to these parks.
PLEASE BRING PROOF OF RESIDENCY.

Central Park Closed!
Contractors will be out this weekend completing some repairs to the walkway around Central Park.
For the safety of our residents, the park will be closed this afternoon and re-open on Monday, July 14th.
This will also allow time for the Flexi Pave material to cure and dry.

Road closure at Butler and Forest intersections for continued Storm Drainage work.

🌧️ Storm Recovery Update – Tuesday, July 1st 🌧️
Huge thanks to our Public Works team for their non-stop efforts after Friday's record-breaking storm!
🌟 Over 5 inches of rain fell in just 1 hour, causing widespread road issues. 🌟
Crews worked late Friday and all day Saturday to restore safe road conditions, and they were back out on Monday, tackling repairs on impacted roadways.
