This week, crews will be working along Butler and Forest Streets and 7th Ave. Here’s what to expect from Monday (3/2) to Friday (3/6):
A crew will continue work along Butler and Forest Streets and 7th Ave, working on swales and laying sod.
There may be daytime lane closures on Butler Street between 6th and 7th Avenues and on 7th Ave between “Dirt” Main Street and Butler Street.

- Installation of concrete curb on Bessie and 8th Ave.
- Grading of roads and installation of new shell road material on 8th Avenue between Main Street and East Blvd; on East Blvd from 9th to 8th Avenues; and Oakdale Street between 8th and 10th Avenues.
8th Avenue between East Blvd and Bessie Street and Bessie Street between 7th and 8th Avenues may have temporary daytime closures.

Please be sure to allow for extra travel time!
Crews will be installing lime rock and curbs, repairing concrete and paver driveways, and removing old asphalt and installing lime rock for paving. Here’s what to expect:
• Monday (2/2) – Friday (2/6)
- From 727 to 806 W. 2nd Ave, crews will be grading lime rock to prepare for paving.
- From 914 to 1141 W. 2nd Ave, crews will be installing lime rock base material for curbs, and forming and pouring concrete curb. Crews will work with residents to notify them 24 hours in advance when they will lose access to their driveways.
- Tie-in paver and concrete driveways to the new curb where needed.
• Thursday (2/5) – Friday (2/6)
- From 1141 to 914 W. 2nd Ave, crews will be installing lime rock base in preparation for paving.

After our first Lakes Cleanup Day on November 2, here’s your chance to join us for Round 2!
Meeting Location: Fernwood Park, 632 Butler Street
Time: 1:15 PM (to gather supplies and organize teams)
What to Bring: Closed-toed shoes; be prepared to walk through neighborhoods collecting trash to prevent litter from entering our lakes.
This is a great activity for the whole family—minors must be accompanied by an adult.

- Installation of lime rock Base material for ribbon curb in cul de sac.
- Form and pour concrete ribbon curb in cul de sac.
