The intersection of Lake Butler Blvd and Maguire Rd will be closed overnight on Monday, 05/04 & Tuesday, 05/05 from 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM for stormwater improvements as part of the Safe Routes to School project.

✅ The intersection will remain open during the day and will not impact school traffic.

➡️ Detour Access: Access to South Lake Butler and Lake Butler Blvd will be available via Park Ave and Wauseon Dr.

Butler St & 7th Ave Construction - Week of May 04th to May 08th

This week, a crew may be doing limited work in Fernwood Park and possibly work in various areas along Butler and Forest Streets and 7th Ave. Here’s what to expect from Monday (5/04) to Friday (5/08):

• A crew may be grading a swale in Fernwood Park.

• A crew may plant the rain garden/pond in Fernwood Park this week.

Bessie St, East Blvd, 8th & 9th Aves. Construction Week of May 04th to May 08th

Crews will be performing miscellaneous activities at various locations, which may include right-of-way grading and pouring concrete structures located on East Blvd. Here’s what to expect from Monday (5/04) to Friday (5/08):

• Forming and pouring concrete at structures on East Blvd.

• Possible shoulder and swale grading at various locations.

**There may be some temporary daytime lane closures.**

Construction Update for 3rd Ave. and Magnolia Street - Week of May 04th to May 08th

Crews may be grading 3rd Ave and digging swales this week. Here’s what to expect from Monday (5/04) to Friday (5/08):

• Grading Road on 3rd Avenue.

• Grading swales along 3rd Avenue.

** 3rd Avenue may have daytime closures on some days this week. **

West 2nd Avenue Construction Week of May 4th to May 8th
The information below is for West of Pine Street

Please be sure to allow for extra travel time!

Crews will continue repairing concrete and paver driveways and grading dirt behind the curb where needed. Sodding, mulching, or installing gravel. Cleanup at Palmer Park will continue this week. Here’s what to expect from Monday (5/04) to Friday (5/08):

• Tie-in paver and concrete driveways to the new curb where needed.

• Backfill and grade behind curbs in the right-of-way.

• Install Gravel, Sod, or Mulch.

• Clean up of the parking and storage area in Palmer Park on 3rd Ave and Pine Street.

• A crew should be thermo-striping the speed humps this week.

Daytime closures will be in effect. Please drive carefully! Thank you for your continued patience!

Bridge Closure Notice - SRTS Ward Trail Project

The pedestrian bridge for the SRTS Ward Trail project will be temporarily removed for replacement from approximately June 1 through August 3. During this time, the bridge will not be accessible.*

Travel Advisory: North–south access through this area, including crossing via Main Street, will not be available.

Please plan ahead:
• Use alternate routes north or south of the closure
• Allow extra travel time
• Follow designated detours and crossings
