Town Square Park Restroom Concepts Available for Viewing

Town residents are invited to stop by the Town Administration Lobby (614 Main Street, Building 100) to explore two conceptual design options for potential public restrooms in the Town Square Park area.
The display features Option 1 and Option 2, which are currently under review as part of the Town’s ongoing park planning efforts.
Residents are encouraged to view the concepts during regular office hours and share any informal thoughts or feedback with Peter Balgobin: PBalgobin@Town.Windermere.FL.US.
We appreciate your interest and involvement as we continue planning thoughtful improvements in the heart of Town Square.

Precautionary Boil Water Advisory - Tuesday, January 13, 2026

Planned interruption in water service will occur on Tuesday, 01/13th from 7 AM to 7 PM, due to necessary work in your area. As a precaution, please boil all water used for drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth, or washing dishes prior to use. Heating water to a rolling boil for at least one (1) minute is recommended.
The water is safe for bathing, laundering, and other non-consumptive uses.
This “Precautionary Boil Water Advisory” will remain in effect until the work has been completed and bacteriological testing shows that water is safe to drink: Customers will be notified!

ATTENTION RESIDENTS: Playgrounds Mulch Installation!

Please be advised that ALL playground areas will be temporarily closed on Wednesday, January 14th, and Thursday, January 15th, while crews complete scheduled mulch installation and surface maintenance.

The playgrounds are expected to reopen on Friday, January 16th, following completion of the work.

This temporary closure will allow staff to safely complete the maintenance and ensure the play areas are ready for public use. We appreciate your patience and understanding during this brief closure.

Crews will be installing lime rock for curbs and installing storm structures. Here’s what to expect:

• Monday (12/29) - Wednesday (12/31): Installation of lime rock in preparation for curb on the South side of the street.

• Monday (12/29) – Tuesday (12/30): Installation of storm drainage in various locations from 613 to 802 W. 2nd Ave.

• Wednesday (12/31): Half Day. Clean up.

• Thursday (1/1) - Friday (1/2): Happy New Year!!
