ATTENTION RESIDENTS: Playgrounds Mulch Installation!
Please be advised that ALL playground areas will be temporarily closed on Wednesday, January 14th, and Thursday, January 15th, while crews complete scheduled mulch installation and surface maintenance.
The playgrounds are expected to reopen on Friday, January 16th, following completion of the work.
This temporary closure will allow staff to safely complete the maintenance and ensure the play areas are ready for public use. We appreciate your patience and understanding during this brief closure.

This week will be very busy West of Pine Street. Crews will be installing lime rock for curbs, switching water meters to the new water main, and installing the concrete curbs on the north side of West 2nd Ave. Here’s what to expect:
Monday (12/15) through Tuesday (12/16):
- Residents west of Pine Street will have their water service changed over to the new water line.
Tuesday (12/16): ***IMPORTANT*** Water will be turned off from 9 am to 5 pm.
- Residents west of Pine Street should have a “door hanger” boil water notice from Orange County Utilities related to this.
Monday (12/15) through Wednesday (12/17):
- Installation of lime rock in preparation for curb on the North side of the street, from 801-803 W. 2nd Ave.
Thursday (12/18):
- Installation of a new concrete curb on the north side of 2nd Avenue.
